User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

User Eligibility

VeterinaryHire is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older and located within the United States of America. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. Users outside the USA or under the age of 18 are not permitted to use our services.

Content

Users are solely responsible for the content they post on VeterinaryHire. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies or is deemed inappropriate.

Service Usage

VeterinaryHire is a platform for connecting veterinary employers with veterinary professionals. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality of services provided by candidates or employers listed on our platform.

Users agree to use the service for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or inhibit their use and enjoyment of the service.

Recruiters and Staffing Agencies

Recruiters and staffing agencies may post jobs on VeterinaryHire on the same terms as employers. Each listing must be a real, current opening that you have been engaged to fill, and the listing or your employer profile must make clear that it is posted by a recruiter or agency. Listings created only to collect resumes, with no specific opening behind them, may be removed.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using any automated system, including but not limited to bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, headless browsers, browser automation tools, AI agents, or any other automated means, to access, collect, harvest, monitor, download, or extract data from VeterinaryHire without our express written permission.
• Copying, reproducing, downloading, storing, indexing, caching, mirroring, or transmitting any content from VeterinaryHire for commercial purposes, competitive analysis, AI or machine-learning training, model evaluation, lead generation, or to create derivative works or competing services.
• Using VeterinaryHire if you operate, own, or are employed by a competing job board, job aggregator, or similar job listing service in the veterinary employment industry. This does not apply to recruiters and staffing agencies posting openings as described above.
• Aggregating, republishing, or redistributing job listings, employer profiles, candidate information, or any other content from VeterinaryHire on any other platform or service.
• Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security-related features of VeterinaryHire, including rate limits, access controls, bot-detection measures, robots instructions, or features that prevent or restrict copying of content.
• Using data obtained from VeterinaryHire to contact users for marketing, recruitment on behalf of competitors, or any purpose unrelated to legitimate employment opportunities posted on our platform.

No license or other right is granted to scrape, reuse, or systematically extract content or data from VeterinaryHire. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account, injunctive relief, legal action, and claims for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees. We actively monitor for unauthorized scraping and data collection activities.

Liability

VeterinaryHire is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our platform or the services provided by professionals listed on our site.

Payments and Refunds

Payments for VeterinaryHire services are processed securely through our payment provider. Subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis according to the plan selected by the user.

Refunds may be issued at the discretion of VeterinaryHire management. Generally, refunds are only provided in cases of technical issues preventing service delivery or other exceptional circumstances. Users should contact our support team within 7 days of the charge date to request a refund.

VeterinaryHire reserves the right to modify pricing and refund policies at any time, with notice provided to users prior to any changes taking effect.

Liquidated Damages for Unauthorized Scraping

You acknowledge that unauthorized scraping, automated collection, bulk downloading, or competitive reuse of VeterinaryHire data would cause substantial harm that is difficult to measure precisely, including loss of subscriber value, erosion of marketplace trust, investigative costs, and competitive injury.

Accordingly, if you violate the anti-scraping, anti-harvesting, anti-copying, or anti-competition restrictions in these Terms, you agree that VeterinaryHire may recover liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 for each day of unauthorized automated access and $100 for each job listing, profile, candidate record, or other protected record accessed, copied, exported, or used in violation of these Terms, or VeterinaryHire's actual damages if greater, together with reasonable attorneys' fees, costs, and equitable relief.

You agree these amounts are a reasonable pre-estimate of the harm likely to result from a breach, are not a penalty, and do not limit VeterinaryHire's right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, demand, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, your use of VeterinaryHire, any data or content obtained from VeterinaryHire, or any enforcement of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.

By using our platform, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts, waive any objection to venue in Kentucky, and agree that Kentucky is the exclusive forum for all legal matters between you and VeterinaryHire to the fullest extent permitted by law.
