Veterinary Technician/Assistant
Job Description
Arcadia Veterinary Clinic is adding a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to our caring veterinary team. Hours and schedule will be variable which includes: On call hours/shifts, some weekends and some holidays. We are looking for a key member for our team to assist the veterinarians and other technicians while ensuring the safety of pets and our clients. Must be able to provide customer service and be good with animals. Phone and computer skills along with great communication skills are a must. Veterinary services discounts available. Retirement and vacation time offered after 1 year. Training will include, but not limited to: Collecting lab samples. Taking and acquiring radiographs. Dispensing medications, vaccinations and treatments. Collecting and maintaining patient medical records. Giving first aid and nursing care to sick patients. Animal Restraint Techniques. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 36.0 per week
