Veterinary Technician (RVT)

NO WEEKENDS! We work Monday-Friday. Each full time employee works 7:15-6 four days out of the week, with a one hour lunch break each day (=39h/wk). This is a nice work life balance having one week day off and weekends off as well!

Position located in Gibsonville, NC (Right outside of Burlington & Elon)

We are looking for a full time veterinary technician to add to our team!

Job duties include:

• Animal restraint
• Patient and exam intake
• Sample collection and running diagnostics (applicant should be skilled in venipuncture)
• Surgical Prep, Anesthetic monitoring, and Surgical recovery (applicant should be skilled in placing IV Catheters)
• Taking Radiographs
• Basic Hospital cleanliness and bio-hazard awareness
• Filling prescriptions
• Administering medication (IM/IV/SQ) and giving vaccinations
• Communication skills with team mates and patient owners
• Must have a drive to be at work. Wanting to be a work is a healthy mindset and creates a healthy team.
• Must be skilled using computers and technology as we are a paperless hospital. We have an cloud based electronic medical record, digital radiology, and digital whiteboard.
• Must have past experience as a Veterinary Technician and having their RVT license is a plus but not required (pay is based off experience & licensure)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
