What You’ll Do (Your Mission)

As our ER/Urgent Care Lead Tech, you are the backbone of critical patient care and shift operations during high-impact hours:

• Triage & Emergency Care: Masterfully handle critical cases—from CPR, fluid therapy, and airway management to severe trauma stabilization.
• Team Leadership: Direct shift workflow, provide real-time coaching, build team morale, and ensure seamless doctor-to-tech collaboration.
• Advanced Technical Skills: Execute precise anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, emergency drug calculations, complex blood draws, and diagnostic lab work.
• Patient & Client Advocacy: Deliver compassionate client communication, educate pet parents during stressful moments, and ensure every hospitalized patient gets VIP care.

What We’re Looking For

• Credentials: Current Colorado State Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credentials
• Experience: 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred (Urgent Care/ER experience is a massive plus!).
• Shift Availability: Must be ready to rock the Night & Weekend shifts in our Urgent Care/ER department.
• The ER Mindset: Calm in a crisis, highly organized, compassionate, and a strong communicator who stays positive under pressure.
• Physical Readiness: Ability to lift/carry animals (with assistance for patients over 40 lbs) and stay active on your feet during busy shifts.
