Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Private Practice

Job Description

We have a full-time or part-time opening (25 - 40 hrs/week) for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy dog and cat practice looking for an individual who is outgoing, motivated, and passionate about the work a veterinary technician does.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures
• Restrain and position patients for digital radiography
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis of blood, fecal, urine, and tissue samples
• Patient nursing care
• Client communication and education

Qualifications required:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Experience with Fear Free handling techniques is a plus but not a requirement!
